Crushing news...
After licensing issues, supply problems, and a general lack of time, we've decided to shutter the doors for Li'l Bits Bakery for now. We may look into restarting operations in January, 2004, but we won't promise anything. If you have any issues (with a previous purchase, or to beg us to make some more dog treats), feel free to contact us.
Tuesday - 17 June,
2003:
ACK!
It seems that all sorts of things have happened. Our webhost experienced a total meltdown,
so we lost any website updates since March, and we've moved to Tennessee.
That's right, yet another state to be conquered, which unfortunately means yet another
set of permits and licenses. As such, we're shuttering the order form (again!) until we get
everything set up correctly. Be sure to check back soon, and thanks for bearing with us
through these trying times!

Grand Re-opening!
We are officially open in Georgia now! AND we have a new taste tester! Her name is Toffee
and she looks like a Jack Russell with a bit of Chihuahua. We call her a "Chi-wa-Russell"...
Anyway, she loves our treats too. Check out our "about" page for more info and pictures
of our new taste tester.
Saturday - 25 January,
2003:
Ack!
For those of you who have been wondering were we are, we've run into
a fairly basic problem. We're not licensed to do business in Georgia!
Unfortunately, this means we have to go through the process of getting a
sales and use tax license, and file a DBA ("Doing Business As"...in other
words, we have to register the name "Li'l Bits Bakery" with the state as
belonging to us.)
The bottom line is, we probably won't be back up for working until the
middle of February or so. We're really sorry for all this, we know
your pooch is missing their treats!
Wednesday - 25 December,
2002:
Happy Holidays!
Unfortunately, due to the move and a distinct lack of preparation,
we managed to leave Washington without any treats! This means we
won't be able to accept orders until we get to Georgia (probably
January 15th). We hope this doesn't mess up your holiday plans too
much.
Saturday 14 December,
2002:
We realize we've been somewhat lax in updating the news on the
site, but we're in the process of moving from Washington (state)
to Georgia! The good news is...we've decided to make the free
one ounce bag offer permanent (for now, at least)! Because of
the move, we'll also be continuing the $1.00 refund for any
order which doesn't ship within two business days (until further
notice).
Monday 16 September,
2002:
We've decided to extend the free 1 ounce bag offer through
September. Also, we're on vacation, so it might take an
extra day to get back to you or send your treats. We apologize
for any delays. That means your order should go out within two
business days of receiving it. If it takes any longer than that,
we'll refund $1.00 of your order!]
Thursday 1 August, 2002:
The website is ready! We've chosen PayPal as our credit card and
shopping cart solution (it's not the most elegant choice, we know,
but they are an excellent company). This means we can now take
orders online, and to celebrate, we'll be sending a FREE one ounce
bag for every order placed in August! So come on...
send us your money!
Wednesday 9 July,
2002:
Li'l Bits Bakery has donated 100 (1/2 ounce) bags to SODA
South for distribution from their booth at Ikea
Renton River Days. For those of you who don't know, SODA
South is dedicated to increasing public awareness about the
need for (and to aid in the creation and maintenance of) off
leash dog parks in south King county, WA. We know that maddie
sure loves her local offleash park (Medina Park), and we hope
that our neighbors in south King county can enjoy theirs as
much!
Monday 1 July, 2002:
We're legal! The Washington State Department of Agriculture has given their stamp of approval to our packaging, and we are officially open for business!
Unfortunately, we haven't completed the website, so we aren't quite ready on that front, yet. If you really want some treats, though, you can contact us and we'll sell them to you (I know...it's a pain, but we're working on it).
Sunday 16 June, 2002:
The analysis is in! All we're waiting on now is the Washington State Department of Agriculture registration process. We're hoping to be up and running sometime in early July! Keep checking here for the latest updates.
